FC27 DRAFT SEASON
🏔️ How the Draft Works
Each FC27 Matchday, every attending controlled player is assigned another attending controlled Olympus player. Your drafted player's performances earn your Draft points for that Matchday.
Controlled players only · No self-drafts · Every eligible player is used once · The draw locks once generated · Previous pairings are considered so less-used combinations are favoured.

DRAFT CHIPS
🎴 How Chips Work
Every player starts with one of each Draft chip. You can use a maximum of ONE chip per Matchday. Once a chip is confirmed it is locked for that Matchday and cannot be changed or cancelled.
Chips only become available once every Draft assignment is known. If the final assignment can be worked out from the remaining players, Olympus automatically determines it so the group does not have to wait for that player to reveal.
⏱️ The 5-Minute Chip Window
As soon as every assignment is known, one 5-minute chip window opens for the whole Matchday. Players can activate one chip during this window or use no chip at all. When the timer reaches zero the window closes permanently for that Matchday and cannot reopen.
If you miss the window, you miss the chance to use a chip for that Matchday.
⚡ Double Points
Doubles the points earned from goals, assists, match ratings, POTM, the 3+ goals bonus and the 3+ assists bonus.
Appearance points and completed-pass points stay at their normal value.
🛡️ Insurance
Adds a guaranteed +40 points on top of your drafted player's normal Matchday Draft score.
Example: a normal score of 20 becomes 60. A normal score of 80 becomes 120.
🥷 Steal
Lets you forcibly steal another player's drafted player. Your current drafted player is swapped to the other manager, keeping every drafted player assigned exactly once.
No permission is required. Any swap that would create a self-draft is blocked. If another Steal changes the Draft first, your choice is rechecked before confirmation and your chip is not used if the swap is no longer valid.
🔥 Hot Streak
Rewards elite individual match ratings across the Matchday: every 9.0–9.9 rating adds +5 bonus points and every 10.0 rating adds +10 bonus points.
There is no cap. If your drafted player records no 9.0+ ratings, the bonus is 0 and the chip is still used.
🎁 1 January 2027 Reset
On 1 January 2027, every player's chip wallet resets to one of each chip: Double Points ×1, Insurance ×1, Steal ×1 and Hot Streak ×1.
Unused chips do not carry over. Any chips you have left before the reset expire, so there is no benefit to saving them beyond 1 January.
SEASON RULES
🏆 FC27 Draft Competition
Draft points from completed Matchdays are added to your FC27 season total. The player with the most Draft points leads the season standings.
Passing can be entered retrospectively and updates the Draft score. If a Matchday is deleted, its Draft, assignments and all points from that Matchday are removed completely.
